Haystack Blonde Ale (5.0%): Moderately hopped with a subtle malt flavor, this golden ale is our lightest and recommended to those new to the world of microbrews. Clean and crisp are often used to describe this great thirst quencher, and it makes the perfect partner to all of our seafood dishes.
John Brown Pale Ale* (6.4%): If you like a well-hopped beer, then this American Pale Ale is for you. Brewed with over 15 lbs of fresh hops, the John Brown is “dry hopped”, a process of adding whole-leaf Cascade hops during fermentation and maturation. Constant hop additions of five varieties of hop yields a balanced but distinct bitterness.
Ausable Wulff Red Ale* (5.6%): This beer is named after a fly used by fly fisherman worldwide. Its designer, world-renowned fly fisherman Francis Betters, lives here in the Adirondacks. East Kent Goldings, and Target hops balance out six varieties of English specialty malt to produce this robust, red ale. Look for notes of caramel and toffee and a biscuity malt aroma.
Adirondack Abbey Ale* (7.1%): Considered by many master-brewers to be the most complex, rich style of brewing in the world, this Belgian “Dubbel” uses pure Belgian candi sugar, Belgian malts and a rare Belgian strain of brewer’s yeast to produce “esters”—flavors that range from clove to banana.
